Photo Story

Cedar Heights Church is a relatively new Church in the State College area.  It was formed in the summer of 2013 when the lead Pastor, Dan Digman, moved to Pennsylvania.  They currently meet in an auditorium of a State College area high school on Westerly Parkway.  It is a relatively unconventional church that kind of does its own thing.  Despite this, there is a huge emphasis on community just as other churches, which I tried to capture in this story.  To do this I went to one of the masses and a Bible study that meets every other week.

I’m a senior print Journalism major at Penn State, graduating in the spring.  I was born in London, England because my dad had been assigned there for business.  I lived there for two years before my dad was reassigned again to France, where I lived there for a year.   When I was four, we moved to Bridgewater, New Jersey, where I’ve lived ever since.

My goal is to enter the journalism field as a reporter/writer somewhere.  My two passions are sports and video games so in a perfect world, I’d love to be covering one of those two.
